Dictionary of National Biography

There is only one Dixie in the DNB however a number of Dixie ancestors and descendants have entries.

Alumni Cantabrigienses

Wolstan Dixie, the Lord Mayor of London was a benefactor of Emmanuel College, Cambridge. Most of the Dixies who went to university went to Cambridge.

Alumni Oxonienses

A couple of Dixie husbands and sons went to Oxford.

Houses of Parliament

Various authors have published biographical details of Members of the House of Commons. Only one Dixie is known to have served in the House of Commons and a few fathers of Dixie wives and husbands of Dixie daughters have also served.
